MATCH PREVIEW | Giants host Rhinos in final regular season game of Betfred Women's Super League
The final regular season game of the Betfred Women's Super League takes place this Sunday as Huddersfield Giants host Leeds Rhinos at Laund Hill in a double header of action from 11.30am.
After the Under-19s clash in a hotly contested fixture, the Rhinos and Giants both look to head into the second half of the season in their best form, particularly the home side who can join Leeds in the top four with a win.

Opposition
This weekend sees the final round of fixtures across the Women's Super League take place, deciding which teams will play the second part of the season against the top four clubs and be in line for a potential Grand Final, whilst the bottom four play off to decide the best of the rest.
After six rounds, previous Grand Final winners Leeds, Wigan and St Helens have all booked their places in the top half - Wigan leading the pack with an unbeaten campaign - which leaves York and Huddersfield yet to decide their fate. Both clubs are tied on six points each, but a win for the Giants against their Yorkshire rivals and defeat for the Valkyrie - who have a more favourable clash against Barrow - would give Nathan Graham's side their first-ever top-four finish in the Super League competition.
A rising force in the Women's competition, Huddersfield have three wins and three losses during the league campaign - two wins of which have come in their last three games. After falling out of the Challenge Cup at the quarter-final stage against York, the Valkyrie set the tone for their season ahead with a 42-0 win over the claret and golds in round one, but the Giants responded a week later with a 26-0 win over Leigh.
An impressive performance away from home against St Helens almost saw Huddersfield topple the 2026 Challenge Cup Finalists in a closely fought 28-20 final score. Two tries from Mollie Iceton led the scoring whilst England international Amelia Brown and Madison Hutchison almost saw the club take away a huge result, but Faye Gaskin, Rachael Woosey and Dani McGifford's tries saved the Saints to move closer to a top four berth. Brushing off a 56-12 loss at Wigan a week later, Huddersfield have been clinical in their last two outings to beat both Featherstone and Barrow, and in turn set up an exciting battle with York for that final top four spot.
Brown has been a revelation in a World Cup year as her 12 total tries puts her amongst one of the most destructive outside backs in the competition, whilst Iceton is also on for a career-best season with nine tries. The Giants squad also contains a handful of former Leeds players including Grand Final winners Sam Hulme and Elle Frain, as well as Faye Barraclough, Eloise Hayward and Kacy Haley. Hulme has been the leading half back guiding the side around the field this year and is one of four players to feature in all nine games across the league and cup competitions.
Should they beat Leeds on Sunday, it would be only the GIants' second ever win over Leeds in ten league meetings. Focusing on the league clashes, Huddersfield only managed a 20-16 triumph against a youthful Leeds side preparing for a first-ever Wembley outing, as the Rhinos have historically been the victors in this fixture. In the last three meetings, Lois Forsell's side have scored 124 combined points.
